Mr. Carrier’s extensive experience in the convention and event industry coupled with his knowledge and connections in the Capital Region prompted him to establish Total Events. His vision was to build the convention and event industry in the Capital Region by offering competitive solution for standard event and convention services, but to also distinguish Total Events by offering a unique array of décor and theme design and consulting. Based on his experience in Albany, he knew clients did not have any creative options when it came to using themes and décor to draw attendees to their events. And in Las Vegas, this type of creativity was key to building the convention and event business.

History

Richard Carrier has over 18 years of experience in designing and coordinating special events, including 14 years in Las Vegas at some of the largest hotel and convention centers in the world. He has been involved in numerous special events such as the Miss Universe pagaent reception, Lee Iaccocca's retirement party, Baron Hilton's private receptions, and world championship boxing post fight events.
